Darkness - looks like we lost the rest of your comment. I am definitely intrigued by Touch Detective.

Fuzzy - I haven't tried the comfort stylus but it looks quite cool. I can definitely see that improving my experience with MPH. And I promise I'll get to Contact! I haven't played it recently but I'll be getting back to it soon. MvD looks good as well. I just haven't had time to get there yet.

Bobster - Glad to see I haven't let you down recently. Hopefully Marvel Ultimate Alliance will live up to its billing.

Most played games:
Xbox 360: Oblivion
DS: Brain Age

Funnest games:
Xbox 360: Oblivion
DS: Advanced Wars Dual Strike

Worst game:
None. I only buy games the Button Masher has reviewed and given a good word on so all my games have been pretty good. (I have forgiven him for misguiding me on the game Fable a couple of years ago.)

Have you tried the Comfort Stylus for DS? I found Metroid incredibly awkward until I tried the CS, at which point it became a breeze. I had some problems with it---there's no goddam excuse for a handheld game to have such an annoying save system, especially when all monsters respawn from room to room---but I ultimately had a great time.

And still nothing about Contact! I'm on Hareba (sp?) Island, and have enjoyed it greatly so far. It plays like a parody of turn-based RPGs (including the combat system, which strikes me as kind of an elaborate metajoke on the masturbatory nature of Final Fantasy combat), but the story and dialogue are consistently funny, and a lot of the boss fights are truly clever (loved the channel-switching gag in Ft. Eagle). Plus the split art style is just brilliant---best use of the 2 screens since Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.

I also recommend checking out Mario Vs Donkey Kong: March of the Minis. I'm only a little ways in, but it's incredibly clever and tough so far, and has the best cinematic of any DS game maybe ever.
