A Wonderful Weekend

Let’s tally.
- Our youngest (2) is going on his fourth day in the hospital with a rotavirus.
- Our oldest (5) has a double ear infection.
- My wife and I have not slept in two days. I get the hospital shift tonight.
Mario Kart Wii helps pass the time. I’ve not played it, but my son keeps me informed.
It’s snowed off and on all day. A weird weekend is more like it. A Monday Madness would pale by comparison.

Sorry to hear of the illnesses, bud. I’ll be looking forward to your GTA IV review though.
You’ll have to wait a long time for that… Nat’s one of the 3 people in North America who won’t be getting it
Hang in there, Nat. Just think… your kids will be super healthy later in life after they build up immunities to all of these things now!
Man, that stinks, Nat! Two of ours have ear infections, as well. This has been a pretty harsh sick season. I can’t wait until it’s over.
I hope to grab both GTA IV and MK Wii. Looking forward to some MK racing, buttonmashing style!
You can count me as #2 of those three people who won’t be getting it. Can we find that last person on earth who won’t be getting GTA IV? I mean, really, when is enough violence, sex, and general debauchery enough? What is going to top this in years to come?
@steve—More on “no GTAIV for me” later. Prediction: People will be mad, but they will go back to playing it. I’ll be thought of as weird. Debauchery? I don’t even think that word is in American society’s dictionary anymore.
@Brock—The cure will be in their blood. I intend to harvest.
@Tony–I don’t think I’ve ever seen it this bad. I know many families here in the Midwest sick with random stuff.
Anyway, some good news is that the hospital let my son go home last night around 9:30. He slept for almost twelve hours. Now to get back to normal. Crazy normal.
