This is a game you will like.
It’s definitely unique.

Oh, my friend.
You are in for a treat. An absolute treat.
It’s one of the few games that will have the game end and then have even more content to work on after the game is finished than most games pack into their entire short duration.
Easily one of my favourite games this year.

I agree with Brock here. TWEWY is one of the best games of the year by far. The sheer amount of intertwining game systems makes the game difficult to adapt to at first, but once you get a handle on things you’ll be well on your way to enjoying the best JRPG released in 2008. Have a great time in Shibuya!

Learn to play hockey.

I’ve only got about 45 minutes so far, but I definitely like what I see, but it looks like it could get confusing/complicated fast.
@Nat – could you elaborate on the hockey comment? I’m guessing you’re referring to passing the green “puck” but I’m just checking 🙂

He was talking about passing the puck.
The game doesn’t really hit its stride until at least the third or fourth day… I think you get the ability to retry then. Once you get past that part, it really starts to open up.
The best thing about that game is that no matter what your preconceptions are about JRPGs or the plot of TWEWY, it will keep you guessing right up until the end. It has been a LONG time since I had a game hold me in a state of surprise and cluelessness (in a good way) like TWEWY did.
