Want to Play Fez?

fez

We’ve been waiting a little while for this title and it appears that we’re going to have to wait at least six more months.

What is Fez? Well, it’s a 2.5D game that we’ve mentioned before (video at the link) that simply looks amazing. Since the trailer release I’ve added Polytron’s blog to my Google Reader (everyone should be using that) waiting for any type of news.

It’s a platform-side-scroller that rotates into a third dimension to perform special moves and gain access into all sorts of areas. Just watch the video.

Here’s hoping it shows up on PSN and PC.

  1. I really want to play Fez. Too bady YOU won’t be able to, Mr. I-Hate-The-360 :)

  2. I don’t hate it. I like it, but as a family we’ve decided that three consoles and three handhelds is just too much. It’s time to start pruning. The 360 is the first to go because it’s the least touched.

The PS3 stays because it’s our movie player and the Wii stays because it’s the system played the most (think two kids under 6).

BONUS: I get to play adult games on the PS3 and the handhelds.

Up next is we go to one handheld. The PSP may have to go. I just don’t know if I can give up Jeanne D’Arc, Lumines, Crisis Core, and Exit.

  3. I kid :)

But really? You’re giving up the PSP? Nyarg. I rarely get rid of hardware. I might mothball it, but I always keep at least one around once I buy it.

  4. I’ve thought about that. Just put it in a small rubbermaid tote with all the games. I only own 7 or 8 of them.

  5. The PS3 did seem to generate the most buzz around E3, so it’s got that going for it.

I can totally relate on not accumulating too much stuff. We’ll still miss you on the Xbox Live.
