Holy smokes, I just realized that the Carnival is one week away! It will be held here at Buttonmashing, in commemoration of the start of the second year of the Carnival. What a wild trip it’s been!
I’ll be sending out an email to past participants, inviting them to join the Carnival, but you can get the jump on that and submit something now! Head over to the Carnival HQ page for more info. I’m looking forward to hearing from you!

Less than 8 hours to get your submissions in for the Carnival. I’m a guilty procrastinator, as I haven’t submitted anything yet, but I’ll get something together. The rest of you need to get out there are become a carnie!

I know we just had March’s Carnival, but the Carnival never rests. I’ve updated the Carnival HQ Page, listing the next few hosts of the Carnival. The Carnival’s next stop will be at n3rfed, hosted by the excellent Cosmik. Originally, unbeliever from MMODIG was going to co-host this Carnival, but other commitments have taken precedence so Cosmik will be hosting solo. Hopefully we’ll have MMODIG back in the queue of hosts soon.
I’m planning on hosting the May Carnival, since that will be the one-year mark for the Carnival. Should be a lot of fun.

Update: Hmmm, we’re still waiting… Hopefully it won’t be too long.
Another Update: The Carnival has been posted! Looks like a few of the entries were omitted, but I’m not sure if that was the hosts choice or if there was a miscommunication (I let the prognosticator know about the missing entries). Either way, check it out!
More: Some of the submissions were relegated to Spam purgatory, so the Prog. has located the missing entries and will be updating the Carnival. I”m outta here for the night. Enjoy!
It’s already time to start thinking about next month’s Carnival of Gamers. The carnival will be heading to Virgin Worlds for the month. The Prognosticator is already accepting submissions, so don’t forget!
You can find all your Carnival answers questioned here (scratch that, reverse it). If you have a question that hasn’t been answered, let me know.
Is up at Slashdot Games and was also posted to the main Slashdot page. Very cool! Zonk told me that he didn’t use a few of the submissions, opting to go with quality over quantity. If your post was selected, don’t take it to personally. With 25 entries chosen there wasn’t enough room for everything.

There’s still a little more time to get your submissions in for the Carnival of Gamers #11. Zonk has told me that he’ll accept submissions up until 11:59pm tomorrow night. I have it on good authority that this is going to be a great Carnival, perhaps with a little surprise thrown in on Thursday. The submissions are pouring in. It’s great to see a lot of people participating. Should be a good time!
I’ve also received word from the April host, Unbeliever from MMODIG, that he will be co-hosting the Carnival with Cosmik of n3rfed fame. He says they’ve got the format worked out, so it will be interesting to see how they pull it off. If you’re planning on participating in April, prepare to be mocked. Unbeliever’s a Pro!
I am thinking about hosting the May edition, since it will be the one-year anniversary of the Carnival. I had no idea it would be this successful. I figured interest would die off quickly and we’d have to pull the plug on it a couple months after it started, but it’s actually done better than just survive, it seems to have been well received, at least by most readers. I’m grateful to everyone who’s read, participated, or hosted the Carnival.
In addition to all the good news, Gamers Radio has stepped forward to take the Carnival in June. We welcome them and hope you drop them a visit.
Remember, the Carnival of Gamers for February will be held at Slashdot Games. As I said before, this is definitely a Carnival you don’t want to miss out on. Send an email to carniegrue@gmail.com with your submission.
