Weekend Gaming

January 25, 2013 by Tony 5 Comments

So I am still stuck in New Eden. I have a plethora of other games (including a The Walking Dead save right near the end of episode 1) waiting for me to pay them attention but I still can’t break away from EVE Online. It’s weird that this game, which I stopped playing almost six years ago, has gripped me with such furor once again. I am all-in. I have even recreated my old spreadsheets to aid me in my quest for galaxian domination. It’s bad, guys. I need help.

If I can pull myself away from EVE, I will get back to the aforementioned The Walking Dead and the new DLC in Borderlands 2. I’ve got 20+ Golden Keys burning a hole in my Assassin’s pocket right now.

What will you be playing?

Assassins Creed III: Liberation, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Big Sky Infinity, Wipeout 2-something or other, Gravity Rush, LittleBigPlanet Karting, Unfinished Swan, Ratchet and Clank, and maybe some Darksiders.

It was such a good PSN week for me. Joe Danger iOS for when I’m bored. (ha!)

That’s a lot of Sony gaming going on there. I hadn’t heard of Unfinished Swan before but that game looks really interesting. How was it?

I don’t know. I didn’t get to it. We spent the entire weekend on LBP Karting. Wow. What a hoot! It’s what Mario Kart Wii should have been.

Borderlands 2 (PC), Far Cry 2 (PC), and maybe a little Minecraft (PC). I guess I like games that eat up my time.

I’ve found my interest in Borderlands 2 waning a little bit. This new DLC, the Sir Hammerlock Big Game Hunt, really hasn’t struck me yet. I’ll keep playing it because I’m a completionist and I have to see everything to its conclusion, but the DLC for BL2 has gone downhill since the mostly great Pirate’s Booty.
