Brock says
I want to play De Blob 2 as I adored the first one, but I haven’t seen much about it so I’ll keep that in the rental queue for now.
I’ll get Tactics Ogre at some point but I’m in no rush. And Radiant Historia and DQVI will be bought instantaneously.
Other than that, there’s not much that is stirring the blood for me this month, which is fine by me as I have lots that I’m working on while clearing out my backlog.
That said, for those who haven’t already picked up the Steam version, Amnesia is a fantastic game and probably the scariest thing I’ve ever played. And don’t be fooled by Dungeons. It’s not Dungeon Keeper or anything really akin to Dungeon Keeper if the reports are to be believed, which is shameful on the part of the publisher as the trailer for the game does everything but declare that it’s Dungeon Keeper 3.
Lastly, I really, really hope that YDKJ lives up to its namesake. I adored the game back when I was in university and kind of wish that it was going to be given a game-show style treatment on Live a la 1 vs 100. Oh well.
Tony says
I don’t know much about Radiant Historia but with all the fun I’ve had with DQIX I think I’ll be seriously thinking about DQVI.
I saw you were playing YDKJ the other day. Any impressions?
Brock says
YDKJ is awesome. It’s hilarious, as it should be, and straddles the line between funny and silly and smart in a great way. It is a definate throw-back to the old version and that’s just the way I want it.
Radiant Historia is moving up my list of most anticipated games right quick. It sounds like a more serious take on Chrono Trigger and it’s being developed in-house by Atlus, which means it will have a pretty high level of quality. Can’t wait.
Nat says
Not a single thing.
Amen.
