As fall approaches, more and more games start trickling out. Yes, there’s more sports games this month than usual, but there are also some Big Name releases, including a new entry in the Metal Gear Solid series. With that said, on to this month’s releases:
Week of September 1st
Brothers – I picked up Brothers back when it was an Xbox Live Arcade game on the 360 after it was so well received by critics. I have yet to play it. I should probably rectify that.

Rubber and Lead – So this looks like Mad Max had a baby with Spy Hunter and then played it Heavy Metal CDs when it was a baby. The controls look like they would be maddening and floaty, but this could be a good time for a quick burst of mindless shooting.
Unfair Jousting Fair – QWOP meets Joust, what an unholy union!
Company of Heroes 2 – The British Forces
Lumini – You’re not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but can you judge a video game by its trailer? If so, Lumini looks amazing.
Week of September 8th
Armikrog
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime
Dungeon Nightmares II : The Memory
Otherland
Cross of the Dutchman
Week of September 15th
Skyshine’s BEDLAM – Any game that allows “improving your Dozer” has my attention.

Albino Lullaby

Heroes of Normandie
SOMA
Shmup Love Boom – This one is first. From the description: “An epic original soundtrack (sounds good), challenging gameplay (hopefully not too hard!), beautiful women (well, this is a video game…) and exploding clothes (WUT)- Shmup Love Boom is a modern styled Shoot-Em-Up with anime and visual novel influences. (Alrighty then!)
