I picked my copy of Phantom Hourglass up around early October and have only recently started to put any serious playtime into it.
That said, it’s a great game aside from a few annoying quirks. I’ve spent almost every spare moment over the last couple days playing it and should have it finished at some point today if all goes well.
@FS – Hey, I’m just one man! I can only play (or afford) so many games!
@Bobster – A nice fellow let me borrow it. Have you given the Orange Box a test?
@Brock – Annoying quirks? Care to elaborate? Anything I should know before starting? I want to finish Pokemon, so after I get that one finished, I’ll be throwing this in the DS. Hopefully this weekend.
I played through Portal a couple of times and am working on the achievement options. I am enjoying it. I also started half life 2 which is fun as well.
Thanks for the loan.
@Brock – I would also like to know what the annoying quirks in Zelda are.
@ alex – Thanks! It’s good to know that we are cool and that you wish you were more like us. Are you a troll? If so it means this blog has hit the big time!
@Tony,
I finished Portal twice. Once with comments. I am working on Half Life 2 now. I am also going for some of the bonus achievement points in Portal. It’s a fun, simple to play game. Thanks for the loan of the Orange Box.
P.S. I’m watching Michigan deal with the “speed” of Florida in the Capital Bowl. So far so good.

You used to blow into your NES cartridges to make them work (even though it was probably nothing more than the Placebo Effect). Now you can make some sweet music with your very own Custom Nintendo Super Mario 3 Harmonica!—Tony [Comment]
The Blur beta started today on the 360, and yours truly was able to score a code. Let me say this: Think Burnout Paradise + licensed cars + Mario Kart - annoying powerup randomness + the leveling mechanic of Call of Duty = the best online racing experience I've ever had. I knew this just fifteen minutes in. Each race is about 5 minutes long and is intense, pretty, and wonderful throughout the entire course. If they make no major changes in the negative, this is a must buy. Now to get it on PS3 or 360?

I think this is the end is near for Blockbuster.
Not only are they bringing back late fees, which nobody likes, but they are raising the prices of old releases to 5$. Wow. I thought that they were circling the toilet before.

you just got this? A little behind on the DS front eh?
It looks familiar somehow.
