..or in other words, vote for Capcom. They make your wildest dreams come true.
I’m gonna steal the text from where I got it, Colony of Gamers. These guys are cool enough to have a flickr pool of images as well.
Capcom has officially taken the wraps off of the long awaited sequel to Dead Rising.
Dead Rising 2 takes place several years after the Willamette incident, and zombie outbreaks are now taking place across the nation. This game is set in the fictional Fortune City, where you should expect to encounter a whole host of new weapons with which to take on the zombie hordes.
Developed by Canadian studio Blue Castle Games, Dead Rising 2 is slated for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC platforms.

Darn! You beat me to it Nat. = )
VERY excited. I will shed a tear of joy for this if they announce it also has a multiplayer/co-op feature added to it.

YAYYYY PC VERSION!!

Playing this on a PC is blasphemy (unless that’s the only way you can play it)!!
Man, I need details on this game like 5 minutes ago. Co-op? Multiplayer? Half-way competent save system? Unlockable Frank West?
Some many zombies, so little time.

Only if You don’t like Free online play and/or Better looking graphics and/or Free Mods (Which opens a Huge Can-O-Sweetness.)
So yeah 😉 Darn them PC games 😛
Nat says
Heh. I’ve been playing GTA:SA on the PC and I think I prefer it that way. It’s just the gamepad controls for shooting are tough. Maybe WASD is better?
At any rate, I don’t think I could play Dead Rising with a keyboard+mouse.
Tony says
@Woolfman – I can promise you this is being developed for the 360/PS3, so I’m not sure if the graphics will look any better, but I would like to see what modders do with it. It sure would have been nice if someone had modded the first one for a better save system.
@Nat – I definitely think DR is suited for a controller. Keyboard/mouse would be atrocious.
Woolfman says
Ohh I know it is Tony. But it has to be created on the PC first 😉 I do agree that Dead Rising is more suited for a controller but I don’t think the that its going to be that difficult to play on the PC. After all there are a lot of hack and slash games that you can play in 3rd that isn’t that bad. Oblivion and Silent Hill come to mind.
