In Our Hands

October 10, 2008 by Tony 5 Comments

Thanks to EA for a copy of their Space Horror Survival Mining Simulator Dead Space. I say it’s in “our” hands, because while I am currently holding the phsyical box in my hand (that’s right, I’m typing this one-handed) Ehergeiz will be doing the actual playing and reviewing. My 360 is currently en-route to Mesquite, Texas, for some emergency surgery. I’ll hopefully have it back in house soon.

I’m planning on watching at least a bit of Ehergeiz’s initial play through and we should have some first impressions up shortly.

EA sending Dead Space is full of win.

I wonder how this will play compared to the PC version (it’s coming out on PC, right?)

There is where the “no violence on consoles” willpower comes in. Dang.

Hee hee. I’m envious, but I guess I’ll just have to take one for the team and buy my copy like the rest of the world. I can’t wait though.

I just picked up Silent Hill: Homecoming, so between Dead Space and SH, my late October gaming schedule should be full of chills and thrills.

Ehergeiz better come up with a good review for it or I’ll have to get my sharp stick and go for an eye! Really looking forward to this game. Looks well polished and freaky cool 😀

First impressions will be up sometime tomorrow, but so far Dead Space impresses. Very polished.

And Nat, this game is BLOODY. Definitely falls under your criteria of a violent game.

I hear that it is incredibly polished. I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
