Under our tree and in my hands: New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Left 4 Dead 2. (I also got Halo 3: ODST from Gamefly.) I hope to get in quite a bit of gaming next week!

In terms of gaming, I got a DSi. I am really liking all of the little changes Nintendo made to this device. It is even in my color (blue)! It was the holiday bundle version, so games like Dr. Mario and Donkey Kong vs. Mario were pre-installed.
I also got a dead 360. The sixth one in five years. I am debating whether or not to replace it.
I didn’t get any games proper but I have been making out like a bandit on the Steam Holiday Sale.
I got $50 from my grandmother-in-law and will probably put that towards Heavy Rain or Mass Effect 2 in the new year.
Oh, I did get Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror for the PSP, but I bought that for myself a month ago and my wife made me wrap it and put it under the tree 🙂
My parents and my in-laws both got Wiis so I’ve been helping to hook those up and have been watching everyone have fun with NSMB Wii and Wii Sports Resort. Of course, my wife never touches the Wii at home but her parents get one and she is suddenly a bowling whiz.

We got NSMBWii and an $85 Wii repair bill.
I was hoping to jump all over some Steam sales but, meh, I either don’t want or have the titles already.
Torchlight for $5! You are drooling stupid for not owning it now.

Nothing but despair…just got the RROD.
Tony says
What is it with the RRoDs? Sorry, guys. I feel your pain.
I grabbed some of the Steam titles on sale, too. Those sales are nefarious.
