Actually, on my ears:
These things are pretty amazing. I’m personally not really an audiophile, but I do pride myself on thinking I can at least discern the difference between stereo sound pumped through my television’s speakers and some high quality (even if it’s simulated) Dolby Surround Sound. And these boys do that in spades.
I’m playing Skyrim with a whole new outlook on the game. The ambient sounds are incredibly detailed and the crescendos of the battle theme during a fight with a dragon are a treat. I sometimes just sit and listen as the title track plays. It sounds so rich.
I’ve heard that multiplayer chat is also greatly enhanced with these headsets but I have yet to put that to the test. I hope to get some Borderlands in this week and I’ll be able to report on the validity of those claims.
– I hate to say to, but even with my history with the Mass Effect series, I am not 100% on board with finishing up the trilogy. With some of the things I’ve been hearing about the multiplayer have me interested, but I’m just not “feeling it” yet.
– It’s been a while since I’ve played anything Resident Evil, so I think I may pick this one up, for old time’s sake.
– I’ve been reading a lot of positive stuff about Amalur. Some even saying it’s better than Skyrim 
– Man, if you would have told my 11-year old NES playing self that one day, people will play video games for exercise I wouldn’t have believed you. I still have trouble wrapping my brain around the concept.
– I don’t know how many years Mario and Sonic have been appearing in guys at this point, but it still doesn’t feel right.
