In [Nat’s] Hands: The Motherload

December 1, 2008 by Nat 3 Comments

There is usually one day a year I go nuts. Ape crazy. Today wasn’t that day. However, I did score a lot of games today. All of them but two are Christmas gifts to my son (read: me) and myself. I’ll only get to touch two of them till after December 25th.

Assassins Creed is pretty neat, but VERY repetitive. The combat is also pretty weak. If you can get past that, it’s pretty fun, though the ending is flat-out stupid.

N+ is fun, I have it on my PSP, good little time waster when you have 5 minutes to kill.

As for the rest of them, I don’t know much. Haven’t played them. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Burnout: Paradise though.

I loved Assassin’s Creed. This will be my PS3 playthrough. The game is repetitive, but the combat is not–well, if you don’t buttonmash. There are a lot of nuances to the combat system if you hit it just right.

I agree with your n+ comment.

I now own Burnout Paradise on two consoles. It may very well be my FGOTY. Don’t know what that is? You will soon enough. 😀

    Holy pile of games, Batman!

I’ve heard good things about Ninjatown, I’m interested to hear how that one is. And of course Chrono Trigger. Have fun!
