For a game that looks like it was made for Brock, being released today on WiiWare for $6, and has that old style feel that many of us writers here are hankering for right now (but haven’t written about because we’ve been playing them) makes this is a must buy.
Today.

Oooo… I didn’t realize this came out this week. I can’t wait to try it. It’ll be the first piece of WiiWare for me since the first batch when the service launched… if I get around to buying it.

Addendum to previous comment: If you enjoyed Rez and have a penchant for things retro and 8-bit, run, don’t walk, and get b.t.b.
Absolutely phenomenal game and I feel like I should be paying 2-3 times the price.

After putting two hours into this game I can honestly say that it’s the best bang for your buck.
Phenomenal and fun.
Although I find it to be very sensitive.

Looks like something out of the Atari 2600 era.
How does it control? Looks like a lot of fun.
Brock says
You basically hold the Wiimote horizontally and tilt it forward and backwards, like a knob.
I’ve developed a kind of differential technique to controlling the paddle. You hold it in your right hand and basically press it against the palm of your left. I used my right hand to do the large movements and if I needed any fine tuning, I’d use my left hand to gently adjust the movements.
It’s utterly awesome but my eyes were hurting when I tried playing it the other night.
