A WiiWare game—that dare I say it—looks like fun. This $10 game might be a good diversion for my son and me.

I just picked up the recently released Geometry Wars Track “46860 Choices” from Bizarre’s website and can’t stop listening to it.
If you enjoy the Geometry Wars 2 music (which if you’ve played the game, you do) I can’t recommend it enough.

While this may not be gaming related many of us here have a fondness for one of the best villains ever put to film. Ricardo Montalban passed away today.

I’ve been following this movie whenever they show new clips. I thought I would share this one with everybody. It was going to be a rental for me but I might have to actually consider buying it. 😉 There is also a Hulk vs. Thor movie coming out that was more appealing to me but, after this clip I think I’m beginning to be swayed. Wolverine used to be favorite Marvel character until they over used him. I still like him though, don’t get me wrong.
I think my favorite part is when Wolverine learns to fly.

That’s a skit only a fanboy could love.

Nothing is more satisfying than talking to units in a game and getting so lost in it that you think you are playing with actual people.
Developers, put this tech in more games, please.
The live, online campaign is amazing as well. The polish here is outstanding. This might be one of my first hidden gems of the year.
Best game no one played indeed.
Alright, I know I’ve posted some video of Dawn of War II already and all, but I mean come on. After seeing this video I had to post it.
Any RTS/RPG (whatever you want to classify it as) that let’s some of your units trample through the level trashing things in the way and bashing through walls is good start to any game in my book. Add to that the Warhammer 40K universe and story, and I think we have an early running for the Game of the Year for this new year already.
Happy! Happy! Joy! Joy! = )
