It’s November, which means the start of the Holiday rush. This year has seen Triple-A titles sprinkled throughout the year, so it will be interesting to see if November is more chocked-full than normal. On to the new releases:
Week of November 1st

It feels to me like this whole fall game blitz is sparser than usual. There have been a few good games here and there but nothing that made Sept. or Oct. feel any different from the rest of the months of the year. Hell, it even had two big RPGs released within a week of each other, much like earlier in the year.
I’ve got AC: Brotherhood on order but am seriously concidering cancelling it because I’m buying it more for the crazy SE trinkets than the game proper.
Other than that, there’s really not a lot that interests me this month, at least not to the point of having to run out to buy it right away. I’ll play Epic Mickey and if the new Rabbids game is anywhere as great as Rabbids Go Home, I’ll want to take it for a spin.
The only game I’m absolutely 100% excited to buy day one is 999 on the DS and that’s a game I only heard about recently. Of course, it’s quirky, odd and Japanese, so go figure.

I’d highly recommend everyone who hasn’t played the Sly games to get the Sly Collection though. I’ll pick it up eventually but I have a 60GB PS3 and all three games on the PS2, so I’m ok for now.
Nat says
Oh crap. I forgot about the Sly collection!
Got Raving Rabbids yesterday on Amazon for $1.99. Hope that’s a deal. 😀
