We haven’t done one of these for a while. What’s everyone going to play this weekend?
I finished Dead Rising 2 this past week, so I am going back to work on some of the achievements. Killing 1,000 zombies with my bare hands is going to be boring, but getting the 72k Zombie Genocide Master is going to be AH-SOME!
After I finish a few more achievements, I think I’m mostly done with DR2. It was a fun romp, to be sure. Once I finish with DR2 I’m heading back to FFXIII and hope to do a little running diary of it here on the blog.

– I normally don’t list hardware, but with Kinect releasing this month, I figured I’d list the new console before the deluge of Kinect games hits. (And yes, I just added “Kinect” to my spell-checker.)
– And here comes the Kinect avalanche…
– AKA the game that may actually get Tony to buy Kinect.
– What’s this non-Kinect game doing here?
– It’s not out a week yet and the Kinect is already getting Wii-level shovelware. Awesome!
– Not sure about this one. I initially thought I’d be picking this one up, but I have enough on my plate.
– Brought to us by the guys that did Burnout, this game is looking like a lot of fun.
– Terrible name but great looking game.
– We just can’t leave this one alone, can we? Can’t we just have nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake?

– Sniper Elite by Maximum Family Games. Can’t think of a more family oriented game than “Sniper Elite.” BOOM! Headshot!
– This is not a game. It is a giant inflatable wave-runner/jet-ski peripheral with a slot for your Wii-mote. Words absolutely FAIL me.
– I’m speechless.
– That’s more like it.

– Nightmare fuel box-art of the month. Scary!
– It’s a Harvest Moon game! Which means I get to link my favorite review!
– Jordan makes his triumphant return. One of my first PC games was Jordan vs. Bird. I loved that game.
– I don’t have time for a Day One purchase, but this game intrigues me something fierce.
– I’ve always wondered about the Gothic series and now I’m interested in how this game translates to the 360.
– Sigh. It never ends, does it? There’s never enough time.
– This is what it’s come to, people.
– At least I can skip this one.
– Come on! Seriously? This month is loaded and we’re not even through the first week of October. I want NBA JAM more than anything else this month. IS IT THE SHOES?!
